Hi I have just started the process of buying DVC through resale as we particularly wanted BWV.
Can anyone advise the best & most cost effective way of paying the deposit, as there is a $75.00 charge for bank transfer from the UK by the resale company plus an $18.00 charge from the UK bank. I could arrange a cheque through my bank which would cost $20 but we may get a lower rate of exchange (I don't know) the resale company do not take credit cards.
If I send a bank cheque what would be the safest way to get it to the US?
Finally we are thinking of adding our married daughter's name onto the contract as she often joins us on our holidays and will be buying her own DVC at some point so we thought this may make life easier when joining the 2 bookings together for family get togethers etc, what do you think? has anyone else done this?
