Some quesitons about our upcoming trip next week

My daughter surprised me by planning a trip for my birthday..we leave in 2 days!! I helped her plan out some of it and she thinks we are staying offsite the whole time. She doesn't know that we are staying 2 nights at the PPH (thanks to a wonderful pin code I received in my email for 40% off!!) We have a breakfast reservation for Surf's Up on Wednesday the day we are checking in. I know that it will be too early to check in but can we bring our stuff and let them hold it until later when we get our room? Also, can we use the Extra Magic hour benefit the day we check in? How would that work if we don't have room keys yet?
I was also wondering if the tours fill up quickly during this time of year. I really wanted to do the Walk in Walt's footsteps tour but don't have a reservation for it yet. Thanks for your help

You can use EMH on check-in days. When you arrive, check-in, though your room may not be ready, they'll give you your keys. I believe you would need to check-in for them to hold your luggage, as well.

They'll take your bags before you check in. They can see if you have a reservation.

At all three resort hotels you can check in as early as 6am on your arrival day. You can park, complete the check in process and they will store your bags at bell desk and issue your room keys so you have EE access with your room key. Once your room is ready they will text you your room #.

Same thing on check departure day. You have to be outta the room by 11am but can leave your bags at the bell desk and car parked all day while you enjoy the parks.
