I am a famliy of five will I most likely get AB.

What if I get put in mansions with no trundle will my daughter have to sleep on a cot?

How is the food court?

How is theAC in the rooms?

Thank you.

It depends on the age of your kids. If one is under 3 they might try to put him in a pack 'n play type crib. I requested AB last trip because my girls were 7, 7, and 2, and ds was 12. They tried to put us in mansions because dd2 was under 3 and therefore free. The front desk cm argued until I asked to speak with someone else. I lined the kids up, pointed out the size of dd2 (who was longer then the crib and well over it's weight limit), and asked just who they thought should sleep with ds12. The new cm took one look and decided they had AB rooms open after all. That was the Sun of Labor Day weekend. We spent that night in I think bldg 17, then moved to bldg 14 the next day by request. We also brought an air mattress that we put by the sinks. It helped to split up the dd's at times.
The food court at POR is great! Many choices and we haven't found meals to complain about in 2 stays there. The only annoying thing is they have different lines for different types of food. It never failed, ds wanted a cheese steak, dd wanted pasta, I wanted salad, and they were all different lines. Ds could stand in his own line, but not the dd's, so it took a while to get everyone's food. I've never seen them run out of tables either, but we were there during a slow time.
If I'm remembering right, you control the A/C. It was the under the window type unit, with control knobs for fan and coldness, if that makes sense. We never had any problems with ours.

There are 2 sections of rooms at POT: Mansions & Alligator Bayou. The rooms in the mansion section have a more traditional look to the furnishings, while the AB rooms have a more rustic look. AB rooms can also sleep 5 because they have trundle beds available.
