Our trip is in October and this isn't even all of it folks! I can't help myself, I'm having so much fun! There are 8 of us, so it gives me plenty to keep busy.

I just wanted to thank Veronica, Kelly, Natalie, Paula, Jessica, tmdart, Amy (LOVE YOUR TRANSFERS!!!), Bayoumickey, and wendypooh. (I pray I didn't forget any of you!) I couldn't have done any of these without you and you have really made our trip magic before it even begins!

Of course, there will be more when the ink I had to order arrives, I still have a pile of shirts left to finish up! :lmao:

some of our journals, activity books, and passports!

Hope if you catch this bug that everyone around you doesn't start to think you have totally lost it. I think in 61 days when it's finally time for the trip, I won't have room in the car for everything I've made and collected! Thank you for making this so magical DISigners, I can't tell you how much it means to me that you have donated your time to so many people to make their trips special! :lovestruc

Awesome!!! :yay: I love seeing the finished products. Many of our designs we have never seen except on the computer. The food and wine shirt looks turned out well. Thanks for sharing.:woohoo::yay: Have a blessed day!! :goodvibes:)

so I have a question...where did you get the journals and passport bound? because I went to Kinkos and they wouldn't print my autograph pages out on card stock...they said they can't do anything with licensed stuff?

I had them done at Staples. These are not cardstock, I actually printed them out on regular paper, cut them out and then glued the pages back to back! It worked out well and made them thick. Not sure about Staples rules on this, BUT, she messed up and ruined one of the passports by punching the holes too close to the side and re-printed them out on cardstock (just one of them) and there was no mention of copyright?

It was 3.95 for the spiral binding at Staples and that includes a clear cover and a black plastic back! I LOVE how they turned out. :)

Every thing looks fabulous!!!!! You have been a busy girl:rotfl:
HAVE A MAGICAL VACATION:wizard:
After you trip check out the link in my signature for scrapbooking and I'll get you hooked on yet another obsession!!! :rotfl2:

I can tell you that this employee was indeed correct. What he couldn't tell you is you can purchase the paper/cardstock separately and insert it into the self service machines and print them yourselves. Once you've printed them yourself they can bind it no problem. If you do have them bind it ask them what color options they have for covers / back covers / coils. I often mix these up on my own work so it adds to overall color scheme.

PS. Kinko's is no longer called Kinko's they are now called FedEx Office & yes they are really strict about copyright laws after some recent legal woes.

Staples is bound by the same Copyright laws as are all printers (Office Depot, Kinko's, Mom & Pop shops etc)

You got lucky that employee risked losing here job on 2 counts -

1. customers are usually required to sign a no liability waiver when working with customer originals
2. Reproducing Copywritten materials.

- But hey her ignorance was your gain so ....

As for the passports would you mind sharing them ? We've been trying to think of a way to make Epcot a bit more exciting for our little one and this would definately do the trick.

WOW! Everything looks terrific! Thanks so much for sharing pictures..... they made me smile today!

Thanks everyone! It's nice to share them with people that understand and don't look at me like I've lost my mind! :rotfl:

The passports and the counter service are Natalie's, she posted right above me and there is a link to her designs at the bottom of her post. :)

Everything looks fabulous! I love to see pictures, thanks for sharing! Your family is very lucky whether they know it or not. Great Job!

Thanks AMY!

I just have to let people know that I used Amy's transfers at amymickey.com and they are wonderful. I have made regular shirts with them to test them out and I'm wearing one of my favorites right now. I printed out a tree of life design onto transfer and put it on a black shirt. I wear it once or twice a week and have lost count how many times it has been washed and it looks fabulous still! I just wanted to let everyone know b/c I highly recommend her transfers and think they are the best quality out there! :)

Since I stopped DISigning...I only pop in and out of here once ina while to see whats new. I'm so glad I stopped today, cause you made my day:hug: This is the 1st time I have EVER seen any of my DISigns finished and posted here! I'm so excited that they came out so well for you. You have done an AMAZING job! Your family is sooo lucky!

Paula

I love your shirts they are so great.

Love the drink around the world one. I need to make one for my DH even if he won't wear it.

Most of them I got at Jiffyshirt.com

They have pretty cheap prices, I've only had an issue with one shirt that was uneven on the side seams and once where I ordered some that shrunk really bad (white...I suspect I washed them in too hot of water) and they do not do returns on things that shrink.

No problems since, shipping is really fast, 2 days, and most of the brands are pretty good quality.
