Hello!

A few of us staying in our Ft. Wilderness cabin need more days of tickets as we will be there longer. Is there any way to add ticket days for 3 out of 4 of us in advance? I was told calling that this was impossible, but I can't see why that would be???

Thank you!

If it's a package, then everyone has to have the same ticket length.
Once you arrive at WDW, tickets can be upgraded individually.

You can change your reservation to a room-only reservation and buy tickets separately either through Disney or a reseller.

As long as you don't have a package booked, everyone can have different tickets.

Yeah, you'd have to book room only. For my upcoming trip, I booked things separately and have 6-day tickets for most of my group but one person has a 4-day ticket.

On my December trip I was able to upgrade my ticket for an extra 3 days after I arrived.

I did it at the resort.

It was a package deal for 2 people & a split stay. I upgraded my ticket but his stayed as we booked the package originally.

Any ticket as part of a package can be upgraded after arrival at the resort. Guests booked on the same resort package have to have the same number of ticketed days when the booking occurs - any changes can happen after arrival.

When you buy tickets as a package, everyone in the room has to have the exact same entitlements when you arrive. After you arrive, those of you needing more days can upgrade.

If part of the goal is to make fastpass reservations before you arrive, it may be worth it to upgrade everyone and just eat the cost of wasted days for the one person who doesn't need them. That would depend on how many days you have, how many more you need, and how important fastpasses are at the time of year of your visit.

There's really no need to waste money like this. OP can either book room-only and purchase tickets separately so everyone has the length of ticket they need. If they would like the dining plan, they can call and book a "ticketless package" with room and dining and, again, buy the tickets they need separately. They can then link those tickets to MDE and can make their FP+ before they arrive.
