Some member benefits for post-4/4 purchasers

I recently became a new DVC member and was playing around with the DVC member site. Then, I ran into a page where I saw this:

"New purchasers of a Disney Vacation Club Membership on or after April 4, 2016, who do not purchase their ownership interest directly from Disney still have access to the opportunities listed below, by showing a copy of your Membership Identification."

The three benefits listed are pool hopping, DVD rentals, & access to TOWL.

The quote above was a straight cut & paste from the website and I am wondering if anyone else has seen it. I think there has been many discussions in other threads about access to TOWL for post-4/4 purchasers. It's really the one benefit that I can certainly use as a BLT owner.

That clears up the access to TOTWL. My guess is that Disney objected to the idea of restricted access due to bar and food sales, if they don't maintain a profitable status, the lounge will stop serving.

Non-qualified owners can access a "white" ID card via their account on the member website.

You forgot to mention that more resorts have been removed from the pool hopping list.

At least on the mobile site, when I click on the menu, above all the menu options (Explore Destinations, My Membership) there are 3 lines:
"Welcome, hakepb
My Vacation Points
My Membership Card"

Our Wilderness Lodge room still had a DVD player a couple weeks ago. We also enjoyed pool hopping to the Grand Floridian and Contemporary pools.
