We are visiting DLP 18-22nd February for our first family visit and are so excited. We have booked standard meal vouchers and would like to book the restaurants before we go as it is half term and will probably be busy. Does anyone have any advice on booking? Should I go for a mixture of lunch/dinner? How do I know what time the parade and Disney Dreams are on so we don't miss them? How do I find out which hotels are open for lunch and which for dinner?
Does anyone have any favourite restaurants that we should experience? Our children are 8 and 5.

If you have vouchers you have to eat at restaurants they are valid in. Using face value will make you loose money. I think all hotels restaurants are open only for dinner but not lunch. What and when will be open you can find out by calling restaurant booking line.
You could to character dinner, it's so much fun. We tend to go for bigger lunches and have a light snack for dinner, this works out better for my kids.

We are there at the same time , so I'll have a go! The parade will be at 5 pm every day. Dreams will be on at park closing time, the parks close at 8 pm the week before and 10 pm over the weekend so I'm assuming 8 pm during our half term week. With standard meal vouchers you have a limited choice unless you upgrade at face value, but this isn't really cost effective. I would definitely recommend Plaza Gardens buffet in the park, lots of choices there, Annettes in the Village would be good and also Restaurant des Stars in the Studios gets good reviews, although I haven't been. Agrabah Cafe and I think Silver Spur steakhouse would also be in standard. Hope this helps!:surfweb:

Just checked DLP website and the times are now up for all February! Park closes at 8 pm from 18th to 22nd, Studios till 7 pm. Park restaurants should be open till about 7 and the Village much later, I would think the Studios would only be open for lunch. Hotel Restaurants (Santa Fe and Cheyenne) will be open in the evenings. You can book Plaza, hotels and some others, but not Annettes. :surfweb:
