Yep, that's my son - protecting his country while singing into a shovel.

Actually, these photos were taken about 3 weeks ago and appeared on our local television station. Needless to say, I was THRILLED!!! I was screaming - the dog was barking!

Anyway, these were taken at their base camp in Kuwait. I'm sure they're longing for that site right now.

What great pictures -- thanks for posting them, Mousefan. It's good to see our boys being able to maintain their sense of humor in the midst of serious war-time business. The strength of the human spirit is amazing, isn't it?

Thanks for posting these photos. I admire anyone who can do those chin ups, they would just have to shoot me, I'd never be able to do it.
