some dvc numbers and info needed

i everyone! i few weeks ago i read a thread about someone who closed on a resale and how they got a hold of their member number quicker so they were able to see if their points were given to them yet and were then able to get access to the website to start booking, vs waiting to hear from disney. we r in the closing process and was wondering of anyone could give me the 2 diff numbers and the names of each of these place in dvc so i could do the same when we are officially closed. we really wanted to be able to get down in disney for june and wanted to get the ball rolling.

I called Member Accounting instead of Member Admin.. and said that I wanted to access my file online but needed my one time pin. The old contract # in my resale contract was the SELLERS so they gave me my new contract number and my member ID... Then I said I needed to get my one time pin code to access online membership. The CM was nice enough to give me my member ID and my pin code so i was able to get in before i got my packet. Hope that helps.

So was that the permanent pin u use now? I don't want to mess up my online access down the road or reservations being attached to 2 diff pins? Thanks!

Sounds like you are in the same boat we are in. We closed on 12-21 and I am still waiting for the membership info from Disney. I emailed my broker last week and she told me if the packet didn't come today (1-8) I could email her back and she would check with Disney. We are eagerly waiting to book something for a family trip in June to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Here's hoping my mail carrier has a nice surprise for me today. Good luck to you.

thanks a lot! what week in june you going? we r heading down on june 15th for the week. we should be closed in a week. hopefully! i am just getting anxious. i hope we can get a full week in one place this close. we just need a studio for this trip.

Still no membership materials today. I will have to email my broker tomorrow AM to see what is causing the delay. We have a short window between June 13 and 26. I am worried that we will not be able to find what we need for a whole week. I really do not want to do a split stay. There will be 7 of us. We would prefer to get a 2 bedroom. Someone was gracious enough here on the boards to look at some dates for me to check availability. Not much was available. My grandson really wants BLT but I doubt we will be able to get that. All this waiting makes me nervous.
