Any sign of Marvel characters at DLR? (or any Disney parks)

Is it true that they discontinued the Disney Dollar?

When does the big orange in DCA return? (forgot it's new name)

When does Goofy's Sky School open up?

How has the Cars Land construction been? Can you see it while on Screamin?

Are they still going to connect Hollywoodland and A Bugs Land?

What is my favorite color???:lmao:

1) No, I'm pretty sure Universal owns the rights to the Marvel characters in the theme parks even though Disney bought Marvel the company.

2) No, you can still get Disney dollars

3) The orange itself is not returning. The swings will be and they will be called Silly Symphony Swings, opening (tentatively) April 29th, 2010 (source: micechat)

4) GSS should be open around the time that SSS opens. Maybe a bit later. It's not one of the major projects.

5) Yes, Carsland is very much under construction, which tells you how crazy huge this place is going to be. Construction is very visible from Screamin, Mickey's Fun Wheel and Maliboomer

6) I'm pretty sure A Bug's Land will connect to Carsland, which will connect to Hollywoodland. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

7) Green

I numbered your questions above for simplicity.

1. No, not yet. They are JUST barely acquired by Disney. I would imagine it will take some time before they are integrated.

2. Not unless this happened very recently. Did you hear that it had been discontinued? Where?

3. It was called the Orange Stinger. It is no longer in that form and will not return. The revised attraction will be Silly Symphony Swings and is reported to open in April, 2010.

4. Goofy's Sky School - Reported to open mid-late 2010

5. & 6. IDK

7. Purple? :wizard:

They no longer have them at our local Disney Store (at least that is what a coworker said after she tried to pick some up). Others have reported the same thing at their stores. The CM here did tell my coworker they would still be available in the parks.

You all guessed my favorite color wrong!;)

I forget where I heard it, but I saw somewhere that they were going to discontinue the Disney Dollar. I may have gotten the Disney parks mixed up with the Disney stores.

Thanks for the link, 3TinksAndAnEeyore. I'll try to spot the construction from Screamin, Maliboomer, or MFW (Mickey's Fun Wheel).

I bought Disney Dollars at DL tonight. The CMs said they have heard rumors about them ending, but have not heard anything official to support the rumors.

I hope that's after this winter. That's when I go.

Also, where can you buy Disney Dollars at DLR?

stores or guest relations or city hall.

It could be true actually, but i dont know. Disney is trying to get everything credit card acceptable. INCLUDING those Cotton candy carts. :)

You can definitely see the construction going on in Carsland from the FunWheel, especially if you get to ride it 4 or 5 times in a non-swinging gondola with a 5 year old. ;) We had a great time checking out the construction in the middle of the lake and it was really cool watching the workers moving the big light ball thingies. We also loved watching the big machinery out in CarsLand. You can also see where they are putting the seating for the World of color show - although there is no seating, yet.
