12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?
13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?

Hopefully everyone will answer.

!. I always loved it but the serious Disney fever and obsession set in about 4 years ago. Yes, I was 21!
2. I have been to Disney at least 13 times that I can remember. Maybe more? Only driven by Disneyland...I know, right?!
3. The World!
4. The interest only gets deeper every time i go. Plus, I try to switch it up with a different resort/hotel and some vacations are about the relaxation, some about trying new restaurants, some about exploring all the resorts. There is always something new to try and see!
5. I have no trip in the future and it is killing me!!!
6. There is nothing like walking down Main Street U.S.A. but I really enjoy EPCOT the most!
7. Favorite restaurant is probably Raglan Road. However, I LOVE Hoop de Doo Revue if we can swing it, just because it is so obnoxiously FUN!
8. I'm not a big souvenir girl but I always try to get a new picture frame...I don't have a favorite, though!
9. Favorite ride: toss up between Rock n Roller Coaster and Test Track!
10. My favorite character is MICKEY. I just feel special if I ever get the chance to stand next to him and talk to him... the princesses don't do it for me, sorry!! :-)
11. Every second in the World is magical to me! I can't get enough of that feeling!
12. I wish I lived closer to the World, but then it may not be as special if it were in my backyard. :tinker:

Okay, I'll play! (but I am jealous that your last trip was less than a year ago!!)

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?

Hmmm...My parents took me for the first time when I was 7, in 1975. Back in the day when you needed individual tickets for each ride and Magic Kingdom was the only park. :) I thought it was awesome and couldn't wait to go back.

I also have fond memories of watching the Wonderful World of Disney with my family every Sunday night as a child. :goodvibes

2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? Disneyland?

Disney World - 5
Disneyland - 0 Maybe someday...

3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World?

Not really fair to say, since I haven't been to Disneyland, but since Epcot is my favorite and there's not an equivalent to it in Disneyland, I'll go with saying Disney World anyway.

4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?

Well, we only get to go every 4 years, so it's not hard! :lmao:

The kids have been begging to go back for over a year now.

No place else has the magic. It's hard to describe; Disney World is more than the sum of its parts. It's the atmosphere, the characters, the cleanliness (yes, it's still VERY clean compared to most other parks), the rides that are fun for the whole family, but it's still more than that. The whole experience is something you just can't get anywhere else.

5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?

128!

6.) Favorite Park?

Epcot, but the Magic Kingdom is a close second.

7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant?
Honestly, nothing really stands out for me. We have had good meals in Le Cellier and the Italy restaurant in Epcot, and Mama Melrose's was good, but really not anything that we couldn't find at home. We enjoy the character meals and had fun at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's, but I wouldn't say either was my favorite. We're going to try Biergarten and Garden Grill this trip, so who knows?

8.) Favorite Disney Souvenier you bought...Ever.
the pearl from Japan should be my favorite, but it's some cheap Mickey-head birthstone earrings from the resort gift shop. I just feel "Disney-ish" when I wear them. :goodvibes

9.) Favorite Ride? Least Favorite?

Favorite - Soarin'
Least Favorite- this is hard as I like everything I have actually experienced; I don't ride the ones I'm sure I won't like, such as Dinosaur. That one would terrify me.

10.) Favorite Character in the Parks?
Mickey Mouse!!

I love the princesses, and the villians, and the classic characters like Donald, Goofy and Chip & Dale, and it's fun to see the rarer characters, but we just HAVE to see Mickey and have a picture with him every trip.

11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)?

Yes. :wizard:

We were there in 2007 and won Dream Fastpasses for Magic Kingdom. This was the thing we were most hoping to win, so we were beyond thrilled. :yay:

In 2003, we were there for DD#2's 5th birthday and she got balloons and a card from Cinderella in the room on her birthday.

12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?

Magic Kingdom. Because even though Epcot is my favorite, it wouldn't be a trip to Disney without seeing the castle and riding the classic rides there.

13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?

It's always fun to see what's changed since our last trip. This will be our first time to visit Blizzard Beach, and we're looking forward to TSM and the updated Star Tours this trip!

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?
When I was 5 and started going on yearly WDW trips with my family.
2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? Disneyland?
Disney World: Probably 40-50 times. Disneyland: 3 times
3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World?
Disney World
4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
We have branched out and do lots of other things in the Orlando area on our trips, take in all the little details in the Disney parks and try to do something new each trip.
5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?
Either around 30 (if we get shuttle launch tickets) or around 90 (for a convention). We just got back from our last one 2 days ago.
6.) Favorite Park?
Either Magic Kingdom or Epcot. We spend more time in Epcot but Magic Kingdom is my sentimental favorite.
7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant?
Boma
8.) Favorite Disney Souvenier you bought...Ever.
My "Kungaloosh!" jumbo pin.
9.) Favorite Ride? Least Favorite?
Favorite: Haunted Mansion, Pirates or Soarin'. Least favorite: Mission Space
10.) Favorite Character in the Parks?
Mickey or Sully
11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)?
We went to a banquet/show at the Studios for a convention we were attending which was perfect.
12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?
Epcot or Magic Kingdom, unless it's Star Wars Weekends and then we'd go to the Studios.
13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?
My favorite thing at Disney World has been closed for a few years. It was the Adventurers Club on Pleasure Island. Some of my best Disney memories were made there. Now that it's gone, I spend much less time on Disney property. Last week we actually stayed in a Universal hotel and we probably will next time, as well.

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?
On my very first trip with my grandparents, when I was 10 WAY back in 1985! I was in Shands receving treatments, and my grandparents had heard from my great aunt and uncle what a wonderful trip they had, so they took me for my first trip after I was discharged. We stayed at Fort Wilderness for 5 days and visited MK and Epcot. I fell in love that first day.

2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? I believe we have taken a total of 40+ trips to the World since that first visit in '85. Disneyland? Never been, but hopefully one day!

3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World? Well since I have only been to DW I can't say.

4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
There is always something new to see an do at the WDW Resort, we never cease to find something new everytime we go.

5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?
Contrary to the ticker (which I need to change!) it is 176 days until our next trip.

6.) Favorite Park?
Epcot, hands down.

7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant? LeCellier

8.) Favorite Disney Souvenier you bought...Ever.
My Mickey watch that my grandparents bought me for my graduation trip. I still have it, its still in good shape and I love it!

9.) Favorite Ride? tie between Splash Mountain and Spaceship Earth
Least Favorite? Stitch's Great Escape (YUCK)

10.) Favorite Character in the Parks? I'm gonna have to say Eeyore.

11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)? We were upgraded from Pop Century to AKL after a horrid experience upon checking in. Luckily for Disney, we spent most of trips after that at AKL!

12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to? Definately Epcot. Plenty to do and see and lots of good places to eat.

13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)? Like I said earlier, we always find something new when we go to the resort and even though we typically stay at the same places over and over again (Fort Wilderness, AKL or Pop), we always squeeze in some trips to different resorts (like this time at Boardwalk, new for us) and that always opens up new experiences for us, which we love

13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?

1. I didn't have a serious interest until I had my own children and wanted to take them. It was so amazing, I was pulled in.
2. I've only been to WDW. A total of 6 times. Twice when it was just MK and I barely remember. Twice as a teen/young adult. Twice as a mom with my own family.
3. N/A
4. We don't do the yearly trips like many on here, but I don't think I'd have any problem enjoying Disney that often.
5. Approximately 540??? I don't have set dates yet, but next trip is either December 2012 or January 2013.
6. That's a hard one, probably Epcot by a nose.
7. Of the restaurants we've tried (only about 12 or so), BOMAS wins by a landslide.
8. I have a bracelet I got as a youngster, it has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Tinkerbell on it. I lost the Goofy charm as a little girl, but I always held on to the bracelet. About ten years later, our church was going through a major remodel including new heating and air conditioning. Guess what was laying on a table at the back of the church the week they finished. My Goofy! It must have been in a vent or something and one of the workmen found it. I don't wear my bracelet, but for this reason alone, I love it.
9. Favorite Ride: It's hard to pick just one, but probably Big Thunder. It just makes me smile. Least Favorite: The Indy Cars or Carousel of Progress: Once was enough for either of these.
10. Character: Jack Sparrow, the Evil Step Sisters and Stitch. I like the trouble-makers.
11. The kids received free pins from a CM working a cash register at a quick service restaurant on our first day of our first trip. They were amazed.
12. Epcot
13. I never had an opportunity to rave about Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, but we just love them. I don't think I could do a Disney trip without them now.

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?
- on my first trip, when I was almost 9. I had no clue what Disney was, other than Mickey, Donald and gang and the Mickey Mouse Club. I didn't know there were whole parks full of rides, treats and more!
2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? Disneyland?
- WDW: 7
- DL (California): 1
- DL (Paris): 1
- I saw HK Disney when I was in Hong Kong! We ran out of time... :(
3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World?
- I like the atmosphere in DL better than WDW, simply because it's smaller and seems more "original". Maybe it's because it's the only park Walt ever saw built; I know a lot of people think like me :goodvibes
4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
- there is ALWAYS something new at WDW, and at all Disney parks! Plus, I like riding on my favorite rides and thinking back to simpler times, when I was a kid. I also look forward to chatting with CMs; they are the best! :cool1:
5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?
- hmmm...can't say, because I don't have one scheduled at the moment ;)
6.) Favorite Park?
- DL Park in Anaheim.
7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant?
- I've only eaten in one sit-down restaurant; Biergarten. I LOVED it, though!
8.) Favorite Disney Souvenir you bought...Ever.
- my stuffed Flounder from The Little Mermaid. That's tied for my favorite Disney movie :)
9.) Favorite Ride? Least Favorite?
- oh boy...favorite ride has to be Journey Into Imagination. Least favorite...I went on Space Mountain ONCE on my very first trip, got scared out of my mind, and have never ridden it again!!
10.) Favorite Character in the Parks?
- Donald. I think it's because we can both be a little "snappy" sometimes :rotfl:
11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)?
- don't know if this counts, but I remember the first time I saw Cinderella's Golden Carousel, on my first visit, on my first EVER day in a park. I thought it was pretty magical :)
12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?
- Magic Kingdom, hands down!!
13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?
- Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain at DL Paris ROCK!! I don't know if it was because they were "new", but they seemed more intense than the WDW/DL versions.

Quoting you so I don't get lost.
1. I got interested in WDW chatting online with friends on a baby board, a couple of whom are WDW addicts (and one of whom pointed me to this board a few years ago).

2. Disneyland 5 or 6, WDW only once

3. Disneyland. Although I'd like it even better if it they had Epcot there too.

4. Dunno, I just know that if you ask me or my kids where we'd like to go, that's always the answer. We like to travel and don't do all our vacations there, but it's always the #1 choice.

5. Our next trip is not definite yet, but IF we get to go, our next trip will be in a little over 8 months. I'm not gonna count the days. Not yet anyhow!

6. Assuming we're talking about WDW, definitely Epcot.

7. Don't have one. Eating is a necessary evil when we're at the parks.

8. 50th anniversary Disneyland wool/leather baseball jacket. I wear it as often as the weather permits (which is almost all year around here)

9. Guess I'd have to say Soarin for favorite and least favorite is Tower of Terror, although I'm not sure you can say something is your least favorite if you refuse to go on it at all. I'm sure you see the theme...I'm not a thrill-seeker when it comes to rides.

10. Mickey, of course.

11. Chip n Dale came to play one on one with my daughter once on a slow day when she wasn't feeling well but didn't want to leave. That was pretty darn cool.

12. Again assuming we're talking about WDW, definitely Epcot. But I found out the hard way on our only trip there so far, that one day isn't enough (for us).

4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
Hmm. Despite going quite a lot, there's still a lot that I haven't seen or done in the parks. It's also cool to check out the resorts, as well. What makes Disney so great is that they completely immerse you in each park or resort. Everything is themed to a T. Whenever I go, it's like I've left my life behind for a short period of time and get to just have fun and relax for a bit. I don't think I could ever get tired of that.

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?
Just before, during and after my first trip to the World, which was when I was... ummm... 13, I think. I've been quite Disney-addicted ever since.
2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? Disneyland?
Disney World: 5 times Disneyland: 4 times
3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World?
Totally and completely DISNEY WORLD
4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
Honestly? I don't know that we do. Our last trip was still magical, but it wasn't as magical as the previous ones. Now that may have been because of several factors - we were travelling with extended family (never a great idea), it was very very crowded (I hate crowds), we weren't happy at our resort (lots of issues) - but we find ourselves thinking that for our next trip we may shake things up a bit. We may stay off property, go at a different time of year, do fewer days in WDW (but still go to WDW of course, we still love it) and go to some other parks and activities, spend more time at the beach, etc
5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?
Sadly, our personal finances don't allow us to have one planned right now. Our vacations this year will be spent at local lakes and camping in Glacier.
6.) Favorite Park?
Depends on who you are asking. The kids love Magic Kingdom, DH loves Animal Kingdom, I adore Epcot. We are united in our dislike for DHS.
7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant?
Impossible to pick just one. It used to be Ohana, but last trip, the food disappointed us. Yachtsman Steakhouse was very good last trip, and we love the atmosphere at Garden Grill.
8.) Favorite Disney Souvenier you bought...Ever.
My "Three Caballeros" coffee mug from inside the Mexico pyramid
9.) Favorite Ride? Least Favorite?
Favorite: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Listen to the Land, People Mover, Gran Fiesta Tour. Least favorite: there are several... Mission Space, Stitch Escape, Tower of Terror, Primeval Whirl (Hurl), Rock-n-Roller Coaster... I am not a Thrill Ride person
10.) Favorite Character in the Parks?
Donald Duck, Eeyore
11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)?
Not really, just being there
12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?
Epcot

1.) When did you get interested in Disney World?
I always like to travel, but I think when I met my partner, I became more interested in Disney, so about 10 years ago.
2.) How many times have you been to Disney World? Disneyland?
About 10 times to Disney World but never to Disneyland
3.) Which one do you prefer: Disney LAND or Disney World?
Disney World, although I've never been to Disneyland, the World is just bigger, which is exciting for me (plus they have Epcot). Although I hear the food options are MUCH, MUCH better at Disneyland.
4.) How do you keep interest in Disney World after soo many yearly trips?
We like to just wander around, we spend time in the parks, but also more time in the resorts as well.
5.) How many days till your next Disney trip?
176 Days
6.) Favorite Park?
EPCOT
7.) Favorite Disney Restaurant?
I would say Jiko, but I've become less and less impressed with food in general on Disney property, the dining plan has really killed it.
8.) Favorite Disney Souvenier you bought...Ever.
My Skagen Disney Watch
9.) Favorite Ride? Least Favorite?
Favorite would be Spaceship Earth. Least favorite would probably be Mission: Space tied with It's a Small World.
10.) Favorite Character in the Parks?
Sorcerer Mickey at Hollywood Studios
11.) Did anything "magical" happen to you while you were at the park(s)?
Everytime we go, magic happens because I'm spending time with my family and friends (we usually bring people with us - a nice benefit of having a DVC membership).
12.) If you just had one day in the parks, which park would you go to?
EPCOT, but isn't that what Hoppers are for, so you can jump between parks?
13.) Anything else you would like to share about your Disney Experience(s)?
I have become more and more of a critic of Disney, they really have let their standards down, for many reasons. Their hotels do not match the quality of offsite offerings, their food is no better (and sometimes worst) then the local chain restaurant and they really have not, until recently invested a lot in new rides/attractions (this includes leaving two parks lacking a lot).
