I just saw some of the pics from the new SI swimsuit edition on AOL and all I have to say is.....feed those girls a cheeseburger! I thought the cover girl was cute, but the rest, blech! When you can see their bones at the top of their inner thigh, those girls must live on lettuce and water. How, how, how can they possibly still have big chests? I know when I lose weight that is the first thing to go. They all must have implants.

Then they showed the historical covers, and Christie Brinkley looked so much sexier then this new crop. I think they have taken the skinny, muscular trend too far. Just MHO.

I agree! I think the whole anorexic Hollywood actress thing is pretty disgusting as well. I find it so sad to see actresses who used to look fit and beautiful who are now wasting away. Haven't they ever heard of Karen Carpenter?? I just love Courtney Thorne-Smith, who finally spoke out about this a few years ago. She refuses to follow the trends and she looks great!

I was looking at some of the past covers too. Models from the 80's/90's had a little more meat on them (Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Rachel Hunter). You would think they'd want to see some curves on a swimsuit model.
