just played a game of capture the flag on one of my mules and everything seems the same to me right now. Haven't played the Battle Game yet.

everyone who was above level 1 on the old game is now back down to level 1

Arg! You mean I have to go thru level 1 again?

There goes another 210+ credits.

it is not that bad, plus you get tons of credits!

Actually they said on the old game. Hopefully they meant the old game, that was there before yesterday. And since you're earning the credits back, it's not like you're losing them. :)

Yes you are. You are still paying out credits to get credits.
If you play 15 games and earn 2000 credits while playing, you are actually only ahead by 1685. Not 2000. So you lose 315 credits that you would have otherwise had, if you had not had to pay out.

When you pay out 21 credits and only get 14, 6 or 0 (this is what I got last night in 3 separate games), you are losing. So out of 3 games and paying out 63 credits, I got back only 20. 43 credits may not seem to be a lot, but it adds up in a hurry.

To play 30 games, you are paying out 630 credits. That's 630 credits you are losing. That will get you a weekly pin and you'd still have some left over for something else.

But this is my view. :teeth:

Yeah, but on the old game you only got 100 credits per third level game, and less for the levels before that. I still see it as a profit situation. Especially since you have more credits after the game than you did before about 95% of the time.

Is it just me, or is it only the person who starts the game who has to pay? When I started the game, it said, "The price is 21 to play." When I've joined a game, it says, "The prize for capturing the flag is 21" (or something like that).

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has actually paid attention to see if credits are actually being deducted for each game you play. I think I'll pay attention tonight :)

Yes. But why even charge us to play? :confused3

They didn't in the old version. And they currently don't charge us to play the other games. I just see it as losing money that we otherwise don't need to lose. Why? Are they in need of credits? I also see this as a spring board to charging us to play the other games too.
This just puts a damper on the amount of credits we earn.

As you can plainly tell, I don't like having to pay to play. :teeth:

Yes. You do get charged each time you play regardless if you start it or not.
I checked that last night. :)

I figure it's because of the people who are sore losers and quit out when it looks like they're going to lose. And it kind of justifies giving people credits when they lose too, in a way. It gives you incentive to not quit out because not only would you lose the credits you put into it, but you'd also not get the credits you get for losing.

While true it not getting paid doesn't stop them at the mansion...they quit anyway. But I like the logic on that and am otherwise appossed to pay to play. But since I made close to 15 K yesterday I really can't complain especially since its not like I really need more credit.

I'm not even going to begin to try to find a reason they have us pay to play the game- really sort of silly I think...

but it will keep some "poor" players from playing because they may not want to pay the credits to try...

A few questions...

Do your level wins count for both games or do you have to win 10 times on each level in each game?

Do you lose your credits when you go to play a game and never start game- say you are waiting for opponents to join and you get a phone call and stop before the game even starts (still in lobby)?

They say in the instructions you get fewer credits if you play with out live opponents and just play the computer, does anyone have count differences for those?

I played one game of capture the flag with one team mate- against two other live people and won- I captured flags both times and ended up with like 238 credits (I also shot at people too). Has anyone begun to make rhyme or reason of the scoring or will it remain a mystery like Haunted Mansion?

And I've heard the prizes will change- what does that mean? What prizes? Is it the prize for 10 level 3 wins? And if so- if it changes can you win the prize more than once?

Well, your level win count does come from both games. So you can win capture the flag once and win the battle 9 times and it will count for the 10 level wins.

If you create a game and never play it or cancel out of it, you do get your credits back. I checked that out last night.

I don't have any other answers for you at this time. :)
