Some amenities questions

Hi everyone, new to posting here although have read here and there over the years. Haven't stayed onsite before but considering it.

So although I have some older magicbands from the first year they existed, I don't know if they would work anymore and have forgotten how to connect to the account. Think they were connected to an account I had that doesn't seem active anymore as I tried that email and they had me set up a new account. Don't want to bother getting new ones. Would there be any problem using amenities on checkout day after checking out without one? Would the hotel card still work if there was anything that needed to be scanned?

Are pools currently heated well? I had read varying reports a couple years ago on that

Yes they are, 82 degrees.

My sister-in-law didn't have a MB and she was given a key card for her resort room. She was also given a hard ticket card when she first entered a park. The room key card would give her access to any resort amenities on the day of check out. The one thing she didn't do was to charge to her resort room, something you can do with the MB. She used her credit card instead.

The resort pools are heated, but the staff have to turn on the heaters when the water starts to cool off in the fall. We were at the Beach Club two weeks ago and the pool water was chilly because they hadn't turned on the water heaters yet.
