:wave2: Hi

we are off to Disney in june :cool1: we are a family of 5 and have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and all the All Star resorts (no3 boy was in the cot!!) and Pop Century, but my Mum & dad are now coming with us so we can now stay in either Caribbean or Coronado Springs

Which one? or do we try Port Orleans French?

Any help would be great!

Thanks :flower3:

So you will have your 5 and your folks will be 2 more ? Will #3 DS still be under age 3 to be in the cot ?

If you are a full 5 then your only option is POR AB Trundle Room for you five, and another room for the folks.

If you are going to have two rooms with a child sleeping with your folks, then you could do two rooms at any moderate.

CSR is our personal favorite for a moderate resort and certainly should be very different from where you live. We call it the "SW Tropical" theme....alittle desert theme, alittle hacienda city theme, alittle tropical cabana beachy theme. Like three themes in one, like POR is two themes in one.

I also have a family of 5. My mom came with us on our trip earlier this month which meant we got to try something different too! We stayed at POFQ and we loved it!!!! It is such a beautiful resort! The smaller size is great - everything [lobby, bus stop, pool, etc.] is so close. Aaaand......you still get the awesome boat to Downtown Disney!

Can I assume you mean that since Mom and Dad are coming, you'll now be in two rooms?

Keep in mind that the pool at CBR is under construction, while you can use the quiet pools, to me its just not the same as a themed pool.

I HIGHLY recommend Coronado Springs. We stayed there for part of our trip in Nov, and I wish we could have stayed there for the entire time. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker in each room, it is BEAUTIFUL, the pools are great, and the buses are rarely crowded. That is my vote!

Oh thanks for the help :flower3: sorrry! i didn't explain myself but yeah, Mum & dad are getting i grandson in their room!!!!! so we can go to another moderate hotel! :woohoo:

CSR would be my choice hands down. CSR has a spa, salon, fitness center, great transportation and much more.

Just a thought... we had planned to do this on our Disney '09 as well so it would open up more options, but I have since changed my mind. In 2007 we booked out trip with my parents and MIL in late Jan for late April. We had decideded on Pop for this trip, but thought the grandkids could sleep with the grandparents if they wanted. Since DS was under 3 we could sleep 5 in the room at Pop still. My mother went in for a routine checkup and they found out she had heart problems. She had to have a double bypass surgery a couple of weeks before our trip. She is doing great, but it made me re-think our 2009 trip.

I am going to go ahead and stick with POR that way if the grandparents go the kids can sleep where ever they want, but if for some reason something happens and they can't go we don't have too many people for the resort we are planning to stay at. Just something to think about...

POR-FQ!! It's the best! It's smaller and everything is centrally located! It's a beautiful resort!
