solved our bed space dilemma...

i posted a few days ago about how to fit four plus sized people in a value room... just not do-able... so i called wdw travel and spoke w/a wonderful cm who claimed that the price would be higher to book our family in two reservations (mom/kid and dad/kid) and repeatedly suggested keeping our 4 people 5+2 package and adding room only... well, after trying to get us the best room only rate, it was still $247 higher than if we booked two separate reservations... she could not believe it! has anyone else ever done this? booked their family as two units so as to get two rooms (adjoining, which also means two bathrooms and two tvs! woohoo) at a value, actually saving money over any other configuration the cm could come up with?

i'm really psyched to have two rooms, for eight days, w/unlimited park hoppers for four of us, and all the dreammaker pkg includes for under $2000... please tell me i got the bargain i think i got!

Wow - that does seem like a great deal! Gotta love having 2 bathrooms. How old are your children? I imagine that they must be juniors, because I thought that each room booked as a package was based on 2 adults/room.

nope, they are 7 and 9... the price was a bit higher than if we all four stayed in the same room, but not nearly as high as 4 in one room and room only separate... the best price is based on 2 adult occupancy, but this price was almost as good, imo...
