Solos, What Are Your MouseFest 2007 Trip Days?

I'm trying to decide the days for my MouseFest trip this year. Last year I arrived a couple of days before MouseFest and stayed a couple of days after, to have time to explore the parks without running from one big meet to another. During these non-peak days I planned and attended dining mini-meets and other activities with a few people. It was all really fun. But last year it seemed that most solos arrived at the beginning of MouseFest (or even later) and stayed a few days after, so I was a little out of phase with most folks, and missed the last couple of days that we could have hung out together.

So before I choose my travel days, it would be great if you solos who plan to go to MouseFest this year could give me an idea of when you plan to be there. Maybe we'll have more opportunities to meet up for meals and going around the parks, if our trip dates overlap more.

I'm booked at BWV from Dec 6 to the 10th, but I'm hoping to add one more night, either at BW or someplace else if my waitlist doesn't come through. Looking forward to doing more meets than last year.

this year I opted to take the daughter and grandbaby at halloween...I'll miss all the fun but the baby will be old enough to actually SEE and appreciate the magic this year so its all about her....oh well

I plan to be there December 4-15. Maybe during the next few months, I'll post some activity and restaurant ideas, and see who might like to meet up. I'm already thinking about mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens, Campfire Singalong Program at Fort Wilderness, Illuminations Cruise, comedy club at PI, going around the theme parks, dining at Flying Fish, Jiko, Grand Floridian Cafe, etc. More ideas will also develop.

If someone would like to meet up for any of these, or another activity or restaurant, please let me know. I'll probably make some restaurant reservations for 4-6 people, so we can get some small groups together.

Between planning for my trip to DL next week and a trip to WDW at the end of August, I haven't even begun to think about Mousefest. I'll definitely be there. I just don't know when!

Well I'll be there Dec. 11th (late)- 15th @ AKV. I picked that week since it's right after Pop Warner ends.

Sure, I'd like to play mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens. I'm tentatively planning this for the afternoon of Monday, December 10. This is subject to change when more of the MouseFest schedule is released. It's possible I might want to join the MouseFest official Fantasia Gardens meet instead, if they have one that fits with my other plans. Or, if MouseFest has some other event on Monday afternoon that I really want to attend, then I may want to move the mini-golf mini-meet.

Let's stay in touch as more MouseFest official meets are announced, and we can work something out!

Also, I'm organizing lots of small group dining and other activities. If you would like me to save you a spot at any of the meals listed below that still have space open, please let me know. (That offer is also open to everyone.)

It will be interesting to see more of the MouseFest official schedule as it is gradually released. Once you are ready, you're welcome to let me know if you'd like to join my small groups for any of the meals where I still have space left at that time.

So, we're tentatively on for mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens in the afternoon on Monday, December 10. Maybe around 3:30 or 4:00 PM. Once the full MouseFest schedule is out, if we need to re-schedule the mini-golf, we can do that.
