Here I go again! Yes, I'm that crazy married lady who cruises without her husband, SOMETIMES brings a Disney "plush pal" (Chip 'n' Dale or Duffy), starts packing for the next cruise as soon as I finish the previous one, and has switched dates for this particular sailing more than a few times due to a variety of circumstances.
Guess what, folks? THIS is my SET-IN-STONE date for my 17th DCL cruise and my second on the Disney Fantasy. FEBRUARY 23 - eastern Caribbean including San Juan.
I will still be going Concierge, Deck 12, but for this one I'll have my own Cat. V on the bump-out. My best friend (Holly/ThePhantomsGirl) will be solo in the Cat. V next door. Although for two sailings prior to this we shared a Cat. T suite, that meant only one of us had a "real" bed while the other slept on the convertible sofa. At these prices, this time we decided to get separate cabins so neither of us has to sleep on a sofa bed. (Thanks a lot, DCL!)
Why am I doing this pre-trip report? I guess I'm hoping that just MAYBE, if there are other "solos" (meaning traveling alone, not necessarily "single") who are contemplating a Disney Fantasy cruise but might feel slightly self-conscious or uneasy going solo, you MIGHT consider booking this one and DCL might take notice that, "Hey - We have more than a few solos on this cruise!"
So I'm putting this out there with the invitation to join "SOLOS to San Juan."
Anybody? If not, well, then it's just another of my pre-trip reports!
