Help I am planning on going solo next Feb. Have been reading that ressies for 2 are hard to get , what about solos? Any other solos have any info for me.

I've never had any trouble making a solo ADR. I've always been put at a table for two, and no one has ever said anything about it.

I've never had a problem making an ADR for one. In fact, my mom had to cancel on our Sept 29-Oct 7 trip. I called to change all the ADRs from 1 to 2 and had no problem. I even cancelled two and made new solo ADRs for two more restaurants. Last Dec I was in MGM around lunch time when I decided nothing there appealed to me. I left, caught the Friendship boat to Epcot, and was able to be seated as a solo at Rose & Crown with less than a 5 minute wait and no ADR.

Too bad you can't move your trip up to Dec. There's a large group of DISers that will be there during the first and/or second week. (I'll be there Dec 8-16th.) Alot of us are planning to eat quite a few meals together. I believe the two organizing them (Colette and Daisy) still have openings for most of the meals.

Thanks for the good news ! Wish I could change to December butit just isn't do able for me then. But I'm hoping that other solos or Dissers will be going at the same timethat I can hook up with for some meals. I went with family earlier this year and loved it but I want to try different ( more adult) restaurants and do more fireworks and Spectra which I saw solo while others pooped out and I absolutely fell in love!!Anyway if I am solo at meals I now Know I can make reesies no problem!!

You should have no problem. I am leaving this Sunday and made all my solo adr's only a couple of weeks ago. Last minute trip

hey Rosie, I had to change my dates to 2/10 - 2/15, are you there any of those days?

I just booked solo for Sep 16-20 at CBR online a few days ago, however, it seems all the Florida Resident and Passholder rooms were already gone. I even called and got the same answer. I've booked a cabin solo at FW in the past with no problem. I guess it just depends when and what's going on...

I've always gotten to eat every place I wanted, and been able to change to others places when I had a change of heart.

I think the one advantage to being a solo diner is that it's your schedule, so if there is some place you really want to eat you don't have to worry about anyone else having a problem with an early or very late dinner if that's all that's available. When I wanted to go to Narcoosee's, all they had was either 5:30 or 9:40 and I could just figure my day accordingly around that.

Thanks for everyones input I'm happy I should be able to getADRs at the places I want. Right now I'm looking at Biergarten, Boma, Capt Jacks, Raglan Road,Crystal Palace, H &V( Fantasmic) and possibly La Cellier!

You'll have no problem with reservations. I just came back from going by myself and had a great time. I was placed at two person tables.

I had gotten a late reservation for Le Cellier for my Dec. solo trip (all they had a few weeks ago), and when I was looking at the things I wanted to do that day, touring the Monorail resorts to see Christmas decorations was big on the list, so I was trying to figure out what and where to eat to get me through till 9:20 and then today I saw a review of the Garden View Tea Room and thought that would be perfect and had no trouble getting the time I wanted (3:30).

You guys are making me feel so much better! Just wish I could find more Febbers.. Are you out there?
