Hi there Brian, to bad. But, I hope you have fun!!
By the way I read your other post, about you going solo to the Blue Bayou!! I think I will order the monte cristo. Since, I hear so much about it. What did you have there? Was it very good?

I would have liked to have tried the Monte Cristo, but they don't serve it during dinner. I might try going for lunch in April.
I had the Buccaneer's Beef Short Ribs with the Blue Bayou potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The ribs were very tender and fell off the bone. The sauce was good, but I wouldn't call it exceptional. The potatoes were very good and the veggies were cooked perfectly, still nice and crisp in the center.
The highlight of my meal, though, was definitely the Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat for dessert. It's a warm boat-shaped chocolate chip cookie bottom topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauce, and it comes with a spun sugar mast and sail. It was fantastic!
I think you'll enjoy the Blue Bayou. Let me know how the Monte Cristo turns out.
For sure I will let you know. How the Monte Cristo is. I saw that dessert on the food picture thread. It does look heavenly. It looks so big though. To bad I dont have someone to share it with. So, I think I will have to skip it. I love to eat, but I dont want a belly ache. Maybe, I will make another ressie, on the next day or evening just for that boat. You are making me want it.
