Solo Trip - DCA Afternoon Strategy

I have a solo trip (my first ever) planned in early September, Disneyland in the morning and hopping over to DCA in the afternoon. What are your best strategies for making the most of DCA in the afternoon? I'll take advantage of single rider lines when offered. I haven't been to DLR since 2018 but I can't wait to see everything that's new and reimagined. I just recently moved to Southern California and look forward to visiting my happy place a lot more often!
