The plan is to be in WDW next year for a solo trip; and I am trying to decide between Pop or AoA.

Being solo I would be staying in the little mermaid rooms - and from what I can tell these rooms look pretty far away from the food court and buses - whereas at pop nothing is really that far.

But I would be interested in staying at the new resort....what to do?

So many critical decisions to make!!!!!

Thoughts would be appreciated.....

If I was going solo.. I would go with POP! If I were going with the kids, I would go with AoA! My reasoning.. I think I would miss my kids if I was staying at AoA because when I see those icons from the movies, I would immediately think of them. POP will remind me of my yesteryears! Looking back during my childhood... the 80s!! :goodvibes

I am going solo next month and I am staying at AoA. I am staying there because it's a new resort.

Yes, the LM rooms are far away from the bus stop, so if that is important to you, stay at Pop and pay for a preferred room (which I think is the same price as the LM rooms).

Also, if you stay at Pop, you can always visit AoA or vice versa.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. :goodvibes

The Little Mermaid rooms are exactly the same distance from everything at AoA as the 80s and 90s rooms are from the corresponding features at Pop.
