Well, I haven't even gone on my WDW trip yet and already I'm thinking about Universal! However, no one I know is a very big Harry Potter fan and I was thinking of going down on my birthday (Feb 14th) for maybe two days just for WWoHP and a couple of the other big thrill rides. Is Universal as friendly to the solo traveler as Disney? Will I feel comfortable there by myself? Thanks for any insight!

I go to Universal alone all the time and have never felt out of place. You should be fine...just enjoy yourself. You will get to do what you want...when you want w/o waiting for someone else to decide. Single rider lines are made for solo travellers...make good use of them.

I'm a teen and I go solo all the time. I actually prefer it over going with people now...

Have a great time! You'll love it. :)
