Solo travelers

As some of you know, my darling DH gave me a solo trip to WDW for the convention for our 20th anniversary. I am so excited, but want to know who else is going solo?

Hello amid chaos,

I'm also solo traveller and I am hoping to be arranging a meet for all of us who are on our own and would like to meet up with others for events and fun!

I am still, unfortunately, waiting for confirmation that I will actually have a place at the convention before I go ahead and and make plans! I registered for events only back in February and have yet to hear if I am to join you all. That is actually why have not been posting much on this board, I don't want to get my hopes up.

As soon as I get word though I will put together the singles meet, I'll make it early in the convention so we'll all have friends to hang out with as soon as possible!

Hope you can come... and I hope I get to come to the convention too!

I am coming to the convention with my Mom, but due to some physical limitations, will be doing most of the stuff solo. Mom wants to attend the 'big' events and hopefullt will be able to do alot!

Hi Barry: I guess All Stars could be called the "international center for solo travellers" or the "center for international and solo travellers" at DisCon!

I am so excited about going that I think I am getting silly!

I have been Seriously considering doing this but, was afraid to go alone! Maybe if I hooked up a flight with PatrickIL and shared a room with someone of the same gender, I might be able to talk DH into letting me go. Originally, I thought I'd leave DS-13-1/2 with Gramma (for school reasons), while the 3 of us went but, DH & DD wouldn't DO too much DISing with me. How much do you think it would cost for just me? When I checked for the 3 of us for DISCon and added a couple of days, it was over $1,600 for room/event. Add a flight to that and expenses??? What might it be for just ME? I'd love any opportunity to see The World, yet again!

I'm going solo, too! But, I'm staying at the YC/BC. So, all you solo DIS con attendees at the All-Stars, please don't forget me! The only thing I'm concerned about going alone is that I won't have anyone to "hang" around with!

Of course, you won't be forgotten!!! I am planning to attend that grand tea mini meet! I hope the single mini meet also happens so we can all meet.

YC is my favorite Disney resort so far. But dollar down here is on a mad rise. I thought it was more prudent to stay on the economical side.

Gee this is going to be so much fun!

I will be solo. I think I am staying at Y&BC. I signed up for All Stars, but got a nice B'Day gift from Grandmom and decided she wanted to upgrade me! (I figure it was Free money!)

Belle, at least I know there'll be you and meet at the GF tea! And, I think the solo mini-meet will be a great way to meet the other solo traveler's. Can't wait to meet everyone!!!
