Our family shared our dinner table with a lady who was traveling solo on a DVC members only cruise and she had a blast. She met so many people and the following year we saw her again!! We're already booked for the 2011 "Members Only" cruise on the Dream so we'll see you there!!
Can I just ask how you already booked the member cruise for next year? I thought the date to make reservations was Oct. 1st. Oh no, did I miss out booking the cruise

Booking day is 10/2. Usually if you do an add-on on a member cruise of a certain point amount, you will get a free stateroom on the next years member cruise.
I'd definitely consider doing the MC solo. I have a question-the rates all say "Based on double occupancy". Is it twice that much for a solo? That wouldn't seem fair, though, because doesn't that include meals for two onboard? So do you know how much more it would be for a solo? I know that's the only way I'd get to go-DH does NOT want to cruise. And this is someone whose son works on a Princess Cruise Line ship, and DS could probably get us discounts there.
I'm sure that there's a single supplement. I believe that most cruise lines charge single passengers at least 75% of the second passenger fair in addition to their fare.
