I have never been to this place and I'm wondering if I would feel uncomfortable being there as a solo. Mind you, I have gone to Jellyrolls solo about 4 times and loved it. But I realize that a person can think of Jellyrolls as a "concert" where you can plant yourself in one spot and enjoy the show. But I don't really get the feeling that AC is like that. Also keep in mind that I'm not really that shy so I feel perfectly comfortable sidling up to a bar, getting a drink and chatting with the bartender or my neighbor (provided that they are amenable to that). But I don't think that I would necessarily mingle around the room meeting new people.

Opinions...?

Thanks!

I go solo there all the time. Give it a try, it's a fun place. :)

I agree with Kat (shocking, I know ;)). There is no other bar at Disney--and quite possibly in Orlando--that it is more comfortable for solos than the AC. Not only is there a relaxed vibe with comfy seats and friendly bartenders, the cast members' job is basically to come up to you and start a conversation. Very easy to strike up a conversation with your neighbors, as well, the atmosphere and theming kind of invite it--lots of "wow, would you look at that" moments.

Awesome news - thanks! Now I need to know how to go about it. Can I get just a one-club pass to PI if I only want to go to AC or do I need to pay the full price?

Thanks!

You never know when a group of singles might be there... ;) There are a BUNCH of us going in May and the group keeps growing... and growing... so ya never know when a group of DISFriends will embark on AC! :thumbsup2

You cannot get a one-club pass to AC. Although PI offers one-club passes, they are only for the dance clubs.

Yeah! What is the deal with this Kungaloosh thing? It's a drink, yeah? Will I be stumbling back to my resort (or be a woman overboard from the boat)?

:) Kungaloosh is a drink you can get at the Adventure Club. It is also how fellow Adventures greet each other.:cool1: :drinking1 :jumping1:

Adventurer's club is the only place I ever went solo to at WDW. Now that I am planning my first all SOLO trip next month, this is on the list for a couple of nights!!! I can't wait. Hope you have fun too!!!

Kungaloosh!
