I need some advice, please. We were recently assigned #7134 for our 7-day Western Caribbean cruise. We booked a category 5 cabin because we like to travel with a verandah- especially on the longer cruises. When I looked up where our cabin was on the ship deck plan, I saw for the first time that some category 5's have solid white wall verandahs. Of course, this is what we were assigned. So, I guess my questions are as follows:
Has anyone ever stayed in one of these rooms? If so, what were your likes/dislikes? Pros/ cons? Anything?
I know that a lot of this is going to be personal preference. That's okay! Please respond anyway, so that I can (hopefully) decide what to do. I want to know how everyone feels about paying for a category 5 and getting an obstructed view like this. I know that it may not be possible to switch...but I want to know if it's at least worth a shot.
Thank you SO much!!!

But we might've missed them altogether had we not seen them first while sitting and relaxing out there.
