Flying for the first time after the "baggie rule" on liquids and gels. My quart size, clear, zipper bag is all set with 3 oz. or less sizes of stuff.

BUT, what about solid deodorant and Shower-to-Shower body powder? Those can go in my carry-on because they are not a liquid or gel, right? I've searched the TSA web site and can't find any mention of these items.

Help! I take off this afternoon.

Yes, you can put them in your carryon, they are not liquid or gel.

Poly Pal, stop thinking "toiletries" and start thinking "liquids and gels." There was never a ban on toiletries. The ban was on liquids and gels. That ban has since been modified with the 3 ounce-or-less and quart-sized-baggie rule.

If it's not a liquid or gel, then the rules remain unchanged since before the August changes.
