Sold Out?

I have reservations for june 11-15 2017. For fun I log in and see where availability is and room types. Under the resort it says "booked xx times in the last 24 hours". Its usually under 100. a few days ago I noticed multiple hotels had been booked in the hundreds in the last 24 hours. When I logged in tonight It shows zero availability for a family of 5 in any of the resorts. This seems odd. Is there a way to see if there is any events or meetings or something? I am nervous because this is a "re-do" of our first trip in 2014 during f&w where the resorts were overbooked and it took them 3 hours just to find us a room...anywhere on property. Any help or insight is appreciated.

I have kept my eye on the resorts long enough to know this is not normal.

They booked 2,062 rooms in the last 24 hours?

I say glitch. There are a few other threads, where offers seem to be down.

yeah i was looking at resorts today and saw and unusual amount of resorts being booked.
any ideas on how this is caused?

I always thought that was just to get you to panic and book. Like when they say "there are 3 seats left at this price" when you look for flights.

The booked in last 24 hours isn't necessarily for the date you are looking at. It just means for all open bookings that many booked in the last 24 hours. It is possible a big tournement just opened booking or a conference was announced today or perhaps it is a common pay day. There are many reasons why one day may have hire bookings than another.

I've had trouble the last couple days with rates appearing/disappearing. Think it's a glitch.

wilkeliza, I know its not for my dates but last week there was availability at almost every resort during my dates, but now there are only about 4 resorts with availability. The booked in the last 24 hours is across all dates and resorts, I understand that.
Is there any way to see if there is a tournament or conference like you mention?

I'm going the same time, and its some resorts have been sold out for a while. We are at POFQ but wanted to stay near my cousins at Beach Club. I haven't been able to book anything. I know the Wine and Dine marathon is the weekend before but those rooms would have cleared out by then. I keep checking since I am an AP holder and I was hoping for a discount.

For sports there is a schedule of ESPN World Wide of Sports website. Conferences are harder I haven't found a good website.
