I'm a AAA member and have been trying to book 1 nt. stay at RPR for Sat. Nov. 3. (prior to cking in to our timeshare.)
The AAA code doesn't work thru UO website so I went to AAA's website. A month ago it told me that my dates were too far away.
Now I can get a AAA price ($191.20) for the Fri night or the Sun night but not the Sat. night. I tried the Sat. night of the week before and the Sat. for the week after and they both give the AAA rate.
Basically I can get the discount for every other night except the one I want!
I tried UO's website for HRH or PBH and both only offer 800 sq.ft. kids suites for almost $500/nt.
I went to our local AAA office and I was told that HRH and PBH is sold out and that there were only 5 rooms (reg.) left at RPR but still only at the reg. $239 rate, same that UO's website offers w/no AAA discount. I quickly booked it thinking I don't want to be stuck with nothing.
Yesterday I called UO reservations and they said no, none are sold out and AAA rates probably aren't out yet since I was her 1st caller for next Nov.
She even chuckled a little. I know that Sat. is the begining of "Jersey Week" so I'm expecting it to be pretty crowded.
None of it makes any sense. I think I'm losing my marbles. All I want is 1 nt with a AAA discount. Why does it have to be so complicated? Sorry this is so long. Can anyone offer some advice?
