Solarveil Sling Fabric??

What does it really feel like? Can someone equate it to something for me? I know it's not soft like cotton but is it like burlap? TIA

It's not like burlap. It's more meshy feeling. It is not soft. It is a bit itchy. But, it never bothered my ds one bit. I really love our solarveil ring sling.

Its not like Burlap at all...its a little ough, but not bad at all...Give it a wash or two and it softens right up!

Technically, it is seeded voile. The same weave is often used for semi-sheer window drapery panels. Just visit a curtain display to test the feel. (New seeded voile panels have a little starch on them for display; that feels just the same as the solarweave feels when new.)

I found it to be rather scratchy(but not anywear near as scratchy as burlap) until I washed it a few times and used it in the pool a few times. After that it wasn't too bad.. and for how much cooler it was than a regular sling the scratchiness was worth it.
