We are staying here in less than a month. We stayed in Davenport last year and it took about 15-20 minutes to get to the parks. It doesn't feel that long though. There is a Publix supermarket if you head from Solana towards 192. If you go further up 27 past the 192 junction, there is a super Wal Mart. There is a new toll rode near Solana, but I am not sure if that will make it any quicker to get to the parks or not. We love staying in Davenport. We get more amenities in a rental home for a lower price. I am excited to try Solana. There was a Chinese food take out place in the same plaza as the Publix and we thought it was pretty good. There is also a new Applebees in that plaza too. Up by the Wal Mart, there are several fast food restaurants. There are plenty of restaurant choices on 192 too. If my memory serves me correctly, it took about 45 minutes to get to the area from the airport. I am curious if anyone knows of stores or restaurants on 27 heading towards the I-4 junction.
