SOG Restaurants - can anyone eat there?

I know that Shades of Green is for military members, but do you also have to be military to eat at the restaurants? We noticed that they have a very affordable buffet that might be a nice change from those WDW prices for one meal! Also, do they take ADRs? Thanks!

Yes, you must a military member or dependent with military id.

when did they change this?

years ago anyone could eat there., the bar by the pool had one of the highest rated hamburgers in the park

It;s been this way for at least the past two or three years. They are very strict about security now.
