SOG quick breakfast

I am looking for some info regarding breakfast at SOG. We are not big eaters, so the buffet is not for us. Does anyone have info on what kinds of foods, etc are available at the grab and go place? Thanks in advance for your help

The Express Cafe down by the busses is perfect for you! When we were there they had all kinds of pastries- crossaints- breakfast sandwiches- good coffee- juice, etc! Prices are pretty good too!

Is the coffee the same as other places in WDW, or is it something other than that Nescafe syrup?

I am afraid I don't really know - I had a flavored latte...yummy espresso boost in the morning!

You could try Kona Cafe at the Poly if you walk over to get the monorail- supposed to have great coffee

When we were there in '98 our oldest son (14) wasn't and still (at 20) isn't a big breakfast eater. We were able to order just a bowl of cereal and toast for him. I read recently they still have an ala carte menu. Also, the buffet is fairly inexpensive, like $7/adult, so you don't feel like you're getting ripped off if you eat a small breakfast there. Someone on another SOG thread asked about what was available in the AAFES store and the answer they got was small boxes of cereal and milk were sold there so you could do breakfast in your room also.

If you go to their webpage you can contact them and ask about ala carte and what is available otherwise.

We'll be there Nov 6-12, 2005 but I'm ready to go now.
