Hi,

I have a question about Shades of Green Resort. I was wondering if my family and dm can stay there? See my dad was a Korean War Vet, and was a member of VFW and DAV, sadly though, he passed away about 3 years ago. So can widows and dependents of deceased service men stay as well? Also, what are the rates if we are able to stay? TIA !!

Some widows can, grown dependents would not be able to.

I'm not sure the guidelines exactly on how a widow qualifies shades of green site has some info www.shadesofgreen.org If your Mother qualifies she can sponsor you at the resort but she has to be going when you are.

Also, I'm not sure but I think widow rates are 97ish a night.

Was your father retired from the military after 20 years of service? It is not just available for veterans as a group. I believe however that disabled veterans are eligible.
