SOG Question

We are staying at SOG in Jan and friends are staying at the Poly. They are planning on walking to the SOG for breakfast one morning. What I am wondering is, if there is room in the SOG bus, would they be able to ride with us to MGM?

We have APs, so we could walk back to the Poly and catch the bus there, but it would be a lot faster if the four of us could hop the SOG bus.

I would ask first to make sure it is O.K. Does anyone know if they would let our friends on the SOG bus?

You have to have a room ID to get on the Shades of Green bus. I don't think your friends will be able to ride the bus.

While it is technically correct that you must have a SOG ID to get on their bus, in the week we just spent there, not once were we asked for a key to get onto the bus. But you never know when they might enforce the requirement!

I really dont think they would make everyone in your party show a pass either would they? I suspect if a family were together one member could potentially show a pass for the entire family.

When we were there in April, we all had to show ID's. It might depend on the bus driver. If you are going to MGM, it is alot faster to go by car if you have a rental car.

I think it just depends on the bus driver. I have very rarely had to show my ID and I've stayed there many times.
