I'm reading the FAQ thread and have a question about paying an extra $10 for a water view. Did you have a ressie at SOG and call CR about the extra $10 & water view. Has anyone gotten their letter officially notifying them of the change. We are going the first week in April and haven't heard from them.

We just got our letter dated Feb. 14th yesterday from Shades Of Green. We are going from April 18th-29th. It says that we are moved to the Contemporary North wing and if we don"t wish to cancel we will be getting a confirmation letter from the Contemporary. We had not payed the extra for the poolside rooms so I don't know what they are doing for that.

GrammieMame-

Make sure your deposit has been put on your card. We (a party of 20) will be staying there in November. One of the room deposits was not applied, and that family has til the 25th to pay or lose their ressie. They had given there card # but they did not apply the charge. That happened to me too on my first ressie.

When I spoke to them today, they said they were all backed up getting letters out, and April people would be the first to get theirs, not to even begin looking for ours til the summer.

When I asked about waterview rooms the CM said you can see the bay from most of the first floor rooms, and not to bother to pay for it.

If you do call, be prepared for a LONG wait, I waited for @ 1 hour.
Good luck, and have a great trip!!
