SOG or visa rates at poly or CR???

We have reservations at SOG for May 31st to June 6th. Any opinions on whether the extra money to stay at Poly or Contemporary with the Visa rate is worth it?

We havent stayed at either so we have no idea. We stayed at the Hilton WDW once before. It was nice but we'd prefer a more "Disney" atmosphere. DH and I are going taking our 2 1/2 year old toddler.

Obviously SOG is much cheaper (around 90 per night no taxes), so even the Contemporary regular wing at 155 + tax is quite a bit more. But we'd love to stay at a monorail resort, and it'd be great to have a character meal restaurant right at our hotel, is the extra money worth it???

Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!

We use SOG like a monorail resort. I *hate* folding the stroller up and carrying the bags and kids, so we make the short walk to the Poly and get on the monorail there if we're going to MK or Epcot. Worth every step not to have to fold the stoller! Plus, you get to check out the resident alligator in the pond!

SOG is very nice. We really enjoy it and can't wait to see the new & improved SOG in May (assuming DH's boat isn't gone...ARGGG!!! but I digress...)

Just imagine what you can do with all the money you would save staying at SOG!! Extra character meals...more souvenirs.... fireworks cruise....more sit-down meals rather than counter service...not worrying about how much you've spent on snacks That pretty much made my decision since we had the same one to make!!
