SOG or Pop Century for mom/daughter?

This may seem silly but the only other WDW trip was when SOG was under renovation and we stayed at the Contemporary for hte SOG rate.

The trip will be in May and just me and my 5 year old daughter. What will be better to stay at SOG or the Pop Century?

Also, anyone know if I can get the deeply discounted rates for 7 day passes if we stay at SOG?

You can visit the SOG website and click on attractions to get the ticket prices. www.shadesofgreen.org. The tickets are a few dollars less then buying them from disney. We have bounced around where to stay during our July trip between SOG, Pop or CSR. Sometimes I wish there weren't so many options, it would make things easier.

We stayed at SOG in May 2004 and loved it. SOG has some of the largest rooms on Disney property. POP rooms are very small. I would stay at SOG hands down. Restaurants are nice and very good prices.
MYW 7 day pass is 195/A and 157/C.

You can't compare a deluxe resort against a value. They're different animals; even though SoG isn't a Disney owned resort.

It all depends on what you prefer. If having the "Disney experience" at your hotel and being close to MGM is more important to you, then stay at Pop. If having a more spacious room and being closer to the MK is more important, stay at SoG. All depends on what you consider to be better.
