SoG folks - re: safe

Could someone going in the next few weeks let us know the interior dimensions of the safes? If I recall correctly from last year, it had a shelf, I think? I remember there being carpet inside.

I've succesfully stored my laptop in hotel safes in the past, but I haven't tried it with my new widescreen.

and I don't think a laptop can fit int he safe.......it is pretty small and yes it does have the shelf.

Do you remember the dimensions by any chance? Or whether there is any stationery furniture which we can attach it to? I can't remember, and can't tell from our pictures whether the bed is bolted to the floor.

Well I am pretty sure the beds are bolted down. I asked my husband about the safe..........he said there would be no way a lap top would fit in it. Is there a safe at the front desk you could lock it in?? Maybe you could call and find out.

Maybe you could lock it to the towel shelf thingie in the bathroom during the day. LOL That thing is bolted to the wall.

Good idea, but I'm *sure* that one of us would knock it on the floor or into the toilet .

Just stayed at SOG in Feb and fit a 15.4 inch widescreen laptop in the safe. It just fits the shlf is removable. We just left in the floor of the safe. We stayed in the new section don't know if that makes a differnce as far as safe size goes. Hope this helps.
