Soft opening for Food and Wine?

From what I've been able to gather, a soft opening might occur on Friday, September 30th. We're supposed to check out on the 2nd of October, so hoping we can get a "taste" of the Festival that Friday. Hoping someone else can confirm this though.

The day before the start of F&W the kiosks are open to try and work out any glitches. We were there in 2009 and it was called a Cast Member Preview, but everyone was welcome.

I believe this year's F&W starts on Friday, Sept 30 so the CM Preview will be on Thursday.

1) Not really a Soft Opening.
2) But, it is sort of a dry run.
3) Some things of which to be aware . . .
. . . CM's are invited to attend free and without strings
. . . not all booths are fully manned
. . . this is the first run for many of the booth staff
. . . some food is not well prepared
. . . with guest and CM's, it is very crowded
. . . due to inexperience, the lines can be long and slow
