Ok...one minute i've heard u have to pay for them or pay for a "soft drink pass" type deal per day. Now I hear that they r free w/ dinner and some buffets. What recent DisCruiser can give me the dl on soft drink aboard the Wonder? Inquiring minds want to know

Sodas are free at the Deck 9 fountain, in Topsiders and the dining rooms. Not room service or bars.

Soft drinks are free at your lunches and dinners. At all other times, you can visit the beverage station adjacent to the Mickey Pool and fill your own cup for free.

Penny

Penny left out that soft drinks are also complimentary at the deck 9 buffet and in the dining rooms during breakfast.

About the confusion--the policy change is less than a year old, and even on check-in at the terminal on 1/16, the CM at the counter told us to take our KTTW to deck 9 to get stickers for free drinks--I didn't even want to begin to correct her, poor dear, she was trying so hard.

But yes, as said here--complimentary at the deck 9 beverage station, in the restaurants, at the buffet, not for free from room service or when ordered from a bar or a waiter bringing drinks to you from a bar.

What about juices - apple, orange? We do not want to drink pop the whole time. What about the $20 for trip and get unlimited pop? Does this also include juices?

Juices are free at the sit-down restaurants and at the buffet, but not available at the deck 9 drink station. There is lemonade and fruit punch available though. If you want juice, and are not at a restaurant, you'll have to pay for it.

Remember, you can bring on board your own juices, drinks, etc. and keep them in your stateroom fridge/cold box! Enjoy!

I think we all missed the question about the cups. At the drink station, they have paper cups and lids. They do ask you to use the lids to reduce spills. At the buffets and restaurants, they fill cups for you. You can bring your own cups, if you want. But with all the concern about passing germs, I'd just rather use the disposable cups they provide.

I am still confused on this one. What about the Diet Sprite or Club Soda? Are these available at the drink station or dining room, or just when ordered and paid for at a bar?

On our 9/25/04 Magic cruise, there was Diet Sprite at the beverage station, and someone on the 1/15 threads said there was Diet Sprite at the beverage station on their trip. They do not have diet sprite in the dining room foundations however, so you are charged fr a can of diet sprite if you order it in the dining rooms.

There is diet Sprite available at the beverage station at no charge. There is also diet Sprite avaible in the Dining rooms- but there is a charge of $2.50/can- at least as of last week, that's the way it was.

Can anyone tell me what drinks they have available at the beverage station?
Also, I know they have COKE products but what are the different types of soda there?
Fruit punch? Hot Chocolate?
Thanks!

I know for sure....Coke, Diet Coke (with caffeine), Sprite...I know these for sure....Fruit punch is still available too

Coke, diet coke, sprite, diet sprite (that's not at every station, I remember it being at the one right next to the door), filtered water, nestea or some other premade brand of iced tea (sweet and unsweet), fruit punch, lemonade, and Mr. Pibb (I think it was Mr. Pibb - something like that). There's regular and decaf coffee, and hot water (tea bags - herbal and regular, and hot chocolate mix provided).

There was no button to just get soda water. I noticed, because soda water is one of my diet drinks of choice. I was able to get soda water with lime free in the dining rooms. Never asked at Topsiders. The main dining rooms charged for tonic water. Palo's didn't.

Hope this helps.

:cutie: ok...can someone also tell me what the prices (round about) for the typical mixed drink or specialty drink is? I mean like the bahama mama's during sail away parties or that "konk" drink on CC? How much do they run? THANKS FOR ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED INFO!!!!! YOUR'RE GREAT!!!!! :sunny:

"Drink of the Day" (there is a different one each day) are $3.50 each, a specialty glass may bump that up to about $6.00 or so.

Regular mixed drinks average $4.00 or so.
