Sister is a former CM who worked with food and beverage as part of her job (entertainment manager). Do you know what Disney pays for the syrup/tanks of fizzy water for fountain drinks? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Not sure the details of the arrangement, but apparently Coke REALLY wanted to be the exclusive supplier of soft drinks to WDW. Think about that the next time you buy a refillable mug for $10.

Uh huh...but they also get a tremendous amount of advertising out of it.

Just remember with the refillable mug program, they still ahve to make the mugs, pay someone to sell them/ring them up, pay for the electric in the place you refill them, in some cases pay the person who refills them for you, pay taxes on the property the beverage station is in, pay for the compressed air to make the carbonbation, etc., etc. They aren't making $10 profit on those mugs.

I'm a fan. Here are all my Coke comments:

Do they supply caffeine free Coke? NOT that nasty evil diet stuff, just caffeine free. That is my favorite! I wouldn't mind buying a refillable mug for that.

I wish they had caffeine free Cherry Coke.

Coke makes Minute Maid lemonade. It is the best (healthiest choice) fast food drink! At any place that has that and unsweetened tea in their drink dispenser, mix half and half. That drink was popularized in LA and is called an Arnold Palmer. Try saying that five times fast

Have you tried Vanilla Coke? It tastes like medicine. Blech! It tastes like some of their nasty foreign products.

Have you gone to World of Coke in Atlanta? It is fantastic!!!

What is your favorite world Coke product as tasted at Ice Station Cool in Epcot? Besides caffeine free Coke, of course, I like the Japanese one best!
