Sofabeds in Disneyland Hotel Standard Rooms?

Hello there,

I just booked a night at the Disneyland Hotel for our upcoming trip this year as a surprise for my party. I just have a quick question regarding sleeping amenities. I know there is obviously the two queen beds but I see there is a couch in the room as well and what I am wondering concerning that is if it pulls out into a sofabed/daybed? It would definitely allow us to be in more comfort during our sleep there, if that is the case. Anybody who is privy to these details... please let me know!

Also, as a quick side question... I heard that both the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian offer free tours of the hotels. Is this still something that happens at both of them? If so, I would appreciate if I could get more information on them! What days they take place? What time do they step off? How long are they? How to you book one? Do you have to be a hotel guest to take part in one? Stuff like that...

Thanks all! :)

The sofa in the standard DLH rooms folds down to a long twin bed.

Tours, you need to sign up at the front desk and I believe they start there.

Sign up for hotel tours at the Guest Services desk. I have heard you do not need to be a hotel guest, but have always been a guest when attending (so cannot 100% confirm). Tours start at 1PM and last about an hour.

Art of the Craft Tour (GCH): Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday
Happiest Hotel on Earth Tour (DLH): Wednesday, Saturday

OT: nice username. Did you catch this license plate on OUAT (a few weeks ago)?

One note about the sofa - not all rooms have them. When we stayed at DLH last year we were in an unusually small room and it had no sofa, only one chair. So if you need the sofa, ask about it when you check in. If you have 5 people on your reservation I assume they would make it a priority to get you one.

I didn't have one for my stay. I thought I was mistaken about the sofa bed and it was OK for the three of us. Had I known for sure I would have asked.
