SoCal trip in a few weeks - add ons to DLR

Hello!
DD18 and I are visiting Anaheim in honor of her graduation.
We are staying in walking distance of DLR and I have a car. We have 5 day Disney tickets and I am only doing two full days, but will do some evenings in the park after other activities.

I do have tickets for SeaWorld.
I hope to visit San Juan Capistrano and Crescent Beach one day.
I have another free day, and she would like to visit another beach for a late morning to lunch time frame, and then do something like sight see or shop.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I second Laguna Beach for beach and shopping. Beautiful beach, cute town and not too far from DLR.
