I am headed out to LA and SD in september and need some help. I will be headed to some baseball games and trying to visit some of the Mouse landmarks while I am there (El Capitan etc) My ched looks like this:

Sept 6 Fly into LAX at 6pm
Spet 7 Dodgers game in LA 110 PM
Sept 8 Padres game in SD 705 PM
Sept 9 Angels game in Anaheim 705 PM
Sept 10 Fly back to cleveland at 9 am

I need alittle help on where to stay. Is it feasible to stay in anaheim all those days? I was thinking of driving to SD on the morning of the 8th and then driving back after the game. I see it SHOULD only be about 1 1/2 hrs to SD How long is it realisiticly? Is traffic terrible at 10 at night? Should I stay 1 night in SD?

if i stay all the days in Anaheim..where should I stay? How long should I give to make it to Dodger stadium from the DL area?

Thanks for all of your help everyone from this Cali Rookie

Also where else could I squeeze iun besides DTD and El Cap? The park will be next year with the fam I think:thumbsup2

Traffic is no problem at 10pm, but I wouldn't count on getting out of Petco Park so quickly. I would plan on 2 hours from Petco Park to Anaheim. It may be more fun for you to stay in the Gaslamp District in San Diego for the night!

Dodger Stadium shouldn't be a bad drive at all on a Sunday afternoon. If you leave Anaheim by 11am you should be there well before noon.

You'll want to go to the weekday games quite early because the traffic will be rough after 4pm. I'd head down to San Diego at least by 2pm, or earlier and spend the day exploring the area.

Anaheim should work as your base.......Park Place Inn is nice if you don't mind a lot of families around the place, for a quieter more adult place maybe stay further away from the park, do you have a budget in mind?

Flying into LAX at 6pm shouldn't be bad on a Saturday. You might want to go right from the car rental down Sepulveda Blvd south, and turn right on Manhattan Beach Parkway. This will take you down to the ocean village and several casual restaurants. You could kill a couple of hours by the ocean before heading to Anaheim, and the traffic will lighten up after 8pm.
