SoCal City Pass and FP

We have purchased the Southern California City Pass for our tickets. With the changes in FP, I am even more curious, do we have to get official DL tickets with our City Pass from somewhere or do we just use the City Pass card like our ticket at the gate? Since they are scanning tickets now for FP, I want to make sure we are good to go and if we need to hit a ticket window, I need to budget that time in. Thanks!

They issue you an actual Parkhopper ticket when you present your City Pass at the turnstiles

So, do I need to plan extra time to get through the turnstile or can I swap it out the day before our first park day? We are using our Magic Morning our first park day and I don't want to waste precious morning time getting tickets sorted out. We are arriving the day before and not entering a park. Can I swap them out then?

The extra time getting tickets at the turnstile is minimal. They take your picture, print you a card right there, you write your name on it, and you're good to go. Probably an extra minute or two when all is said and done if you don't have a giant family.
