Hi everyone!

Just back from my trip and I have to tell you guys about Soarin'! Ok... I couldn't believe how busy it got soooooo fast. We got there around 9:30 and there was already an hour long wait. We got FastPasses for 11:30-12:30 and still had a pretty long wait, about 20 minutes, which was ok. But, by the time we came out of the ride, the line had gone up to a 80 minute wait... and the FastPass was being distributed for 7 PM! So, if it is on your list of things to do... get there early for a pass!!!

It is a great ride, everyone should try it once. I really liked it but probably wouldn't go through the waiting again. If a few years go by and its popularity dies down a bit, I'll be back again ;)

thanks for the info...we're going in 15 days  and this is high on the to-do list. now i'll be sure to get that fast pass early!

Absolutely get to the park and get FP immediately.

We did not. went Nov 7 - 11 and could never get on.

200 minute wait. FP all gone by 12:00 pm

maybe lines will die down in early December but for you holiday people,

please take heed

Oh yeah, we have FL resident annual passes and we go to EPCOT quite a bit. There is ALWAYS an astronomical wait there. Like unbelieveable ALL THE TIME!!! We went today and got Fast Passes around 11am, good from 1pm-2pm. We waited about 10-15 minutes max to get on with our FP's. Make sure you ride in ROW 1!!!

Anyway, if going on Soarin' is a must for you, please go DIRECTLY there when arriving and get a fast pass. If you don't they'll be sold out most of the time.

As this seems to be a fairly typical observation I wonder if the UG folks have taken a look at this. Their guidance still calls for picking up the Soarin' FP after Test Track and Mission Space....I'm getting kinda nervous that might shut me out of Soarin' in a reasonable time horizon.

Wow when I went to DL last christmas the wait time was never 200 minutes. At least what I saw. Although it wasnt new to them. I suppose that could be the reason.

We went last week on Tuesday and got their fairly early. We probably got there around 10:30 or 11:00 am and the wait said 20 minutes I believe but it seemed like it went quicker than that. I guess we were lucky!

While it was a good idea to bring another ride into Epcot, and Soarin' is a decent ride, the part that I don't understand is.....why would Disney take a ride from California Adventure, plop it down in the middle of Epcot, which has about triple the attendance figures of the California Adventure park, and then wonder why the lines are astronomical, and why people then complain, and won't wait in a 3 hour line, when all the other rides are an hour or less usually (except *maybe* Test Track when it's broken down for a while).

DH and I were there 11/1 through 11/8 and went on Soarin' three separate days! Used a fast pass only once and went on ride eight times!!! Most of the time it said it was a 50-minute wait, which turned out to be more like 20 minutes, and the last time we went on it said 50 minutes again but it was more like 55 or so. (When we got off the ride it then said 80 minutes.) We never got there at opening on any of the days. Guess we just picked a good week to go. :)

sorry to tell you guys but i went there between AUG 28 and SEPT 02 and waited about 5 minutes... i had fastpass though but crowds were VERY low in general...it was the time when katrina hit new orleans = the weekend before labour day

greets from germany

Do you mean the hidden Mickey on the golf ball that's hit at you on Soarin,if you mean that one, YES.

We just got back too. We got to Soarin around 9:15 and it said it was a 30 minute wait. We only waited 15 minutes. I noticed all week that the lines would have a certain wait time, but if you waited it was not even 1/2 of what they were saying. Test track said 30 minutes and we got on within 5. We only used fast pass once all week and that was for the Pooh ride in Magic Kingdom.

We pretty much walked on, but in Soarin' terms, that's a couple mile hike!

Honestly, folks -- the distance you have to walk even when there's no line led me to the conviction that if you can see the end of the line from where they take your ticket, it's not worth the wait.

Hi,

We are at WDW right now. We went to EC this morning and we got to the Land about 10:09am and got our fast passes they had a return time of 1:24pm to 2:24pm. The stand by was 90mins. We went back to the Land to have lunch before our fast pass window and by 1pm fast passes were gone for the day and the stand by line was at 100mins when we entered the Fast Pass Return Line.

Great ride this was our second time on Sorin' and love it. We are traveling with friends who have three children, 8, 13 and 15 and they all loved it. The good thing here is the 8 yr old is a little on the timid side and we were concerned about him but he came off smiling and loved it.

While I'm excited to ride Soarin' next week, I'm devastated that they had to ruin my favorite pavillion. The Land has always been a refuge from the crowds at Disney. While everyone is clustering to cram themselves on Mission: Space and Test Track, The Land would always be a lovely place for a snack and drink and to take in the wonderful and relaxing attractions, Living with the Land, Food Rocks (though Kitchen Kaberet will always be my favorite) and Circle of Life.

Now, it seems that due to Soarin', The Land is a giant cluster.

I rode Soarin four times in my last trip, three of the times with FP, and the other right at park opening. I noticed that the FP's were always gone by early afternoon, and stand-by was usually 90+ minutes.

Also a cast member told me Soarin was the highest rated ride in Disney by guests.
