OK so I am on the phone making ps's this morning and got a great chatty CM. She told me today was the cm preview for soarin..so general operating should happen any day. She was so cute..so excited to be going. I know some people have been on for soft openings but I want the real thing! Sounds like it is coming.

Yes, it's coming and won't be long now. I went on Thurs. during Cast Member preview and loved it. As with all good things, it ended too soon and left me wanting more.

One thing to note: It's a long walk from the entrance through The Land to the Soarin' ride itself.

I doubt you will see general openings until after the AP and DVC previews. Also don't think they will open it up to all until they open the Land back up.

Yikes I hope that is not true about the AP holders...Because I will be the only one that will have one on our trip. And if you think I would not go on because my family couldn't you would be wrong.

It turns out we will be in Orlando during the AP preview days April 15-17. We've never been to a preview before. Will it be all day? Do we just show up with our AP's anytime? Will there be a giant crowd?

I went on Thurs. during Cast Member preview and loved it.

Me too!! Went with my daughter who is a CP CM ~~ it was very cool
You can tell by the size of the waiting area that they are expecting HUGE crowds for it.

I got to go on Friday with my DRC friend, and was amazed. The format is great, the building is beautiful, it really reminds me of an airport concourse. Anyone else reminded of "If you had Wings" by their costuming?

Having lived in Cali for a while, the minute I saw the Palm Springs and on down, I craved to be at "home" ... Now I wanna go back to California.. *weep*

OK so those of you that went on it. Do you think this will be THE ride vs. test track? I am curious because on EMH day the 3 biggies for us are Soarin/test track and mission space. Now I know some could ride MS while I go get fast pass for TT but then should we do Soarin first if it is going to be so popular? Things are so spread out here I feel like we need a plan. I can't wait to do this one.

When I was there this week they were testing a new distribution policy for fast pass ~~ you could get them for more than one ride without having to wait a period of time. So, we got one for Test Track and then walked directly over to Mission Space and got another one there. I'm not sure how long this policy is going to be in place, but if you're going soon make sure to check this out
