I know I read these 2 answers somewhere, but now I can't find where it was. Sorry to ask again... :rolleyes1

I remember reading that if you are prone to motion sickness to sit in a specific seat/seat level on the ride and you'll be ok. Where was that??

Also, I remember reading that besides dramamine there was something else good to take for motion sickness. Does anyone know what that other thing was? :confused3

Thanks for all your help!

sorry, don't know the answer to your #2 question but there are 3 levels on the ride....first row glides about 40 feet in the air before film begins....second row goes about 20-25 (?) and the third row stays closest to the ground - only about 10-15 feet up......as for which seat is best...don't know, I sat in 3 seat from end....didn't have any problems ....

I'm sure some of our fellow dis'ers can help out with more info for you...it's an awesome ride, enjoy!!

Honestly LauraL, I don't think you will have any trouble with motion sickness on Soarin'. If you have a fear of heights, the bottom row would probably be wisest.
Maybe you are thinking of Bonine for motion sickness. The generic name for both Dramamine and Bonine is Meclizine. Here is a link to info on the drug. http://www.meclizine.com/

Please do a test run with the anti-motion sickness meds before your trip, they make me VERY sleepy. You don't want to spoil your day in the park with a bad reaction.
Good luck! :sunny:
